Our ministries
Here are some of the ways you can grow and serve here at FBCML:
Worship
During our Sunday morning worship service at FBC, our goal is to point everyone back to our God. We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional songs, encouraging everyone from wherever you are today to come to Jesus!
Next steps: If you would like to serve by singing, playing an instrument, or running sound/display tech, contact: Julie or Rhonda
Life Groups
Our life groups exist to fulfill the “one another” commands in a small group setting by building deep relationships through Bible study, prayer, and discussion. We have several small groups that meet each week in different places around town.
Next steps: To join a group or get more information contact Josh.
Ladies’ Groups
Our ladies help each other grow through small group Bible studies, ladies’ breakfasts, and other activities.
Next steps: To serve in the ladies’ ministry or get more information, contact Laura.
Men’s Groups
Description: Our men meet for a prayer breakfast—usually the first Saturday of the month. In addition, we have occasional men’s cookouts for opportunities to grow in our relationship with God and each other.
Next steps: To serve in the Men’s ministry or get more information, contact Pastor Andy
Kids Groups
Sunday School: From 9:30-10:30 every Sunday, we have several children’s classes for all age groups, where caring teachers help students learn and grow in loving God and loving others.
Next steps: If you would like to serve in one of the classes or get more information, contact Josh.
AWANA: Each Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:30, our AWANA kids Bible club meets at church. See the AWANA page for more details or contact Ruth.
Connect & Grow Teen Youth Group: Each Sunday evening at 6pm, our Connect & Grow teen group meets in the youth group for a time of connection and growth.
Next steps: See Zane to join the group or for opportunities to serve.
Biblical Counseling
We know that the Bible has the answers to all of life’s most important questions. Our Biblical Counseling offers an opportunity to sit down and work through questions and issues you are currently facing. Our pastors have been trained in and counsel in the style of the ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors).
Next Steps: Contact Josh or call the office
Missions
As part of fulfilling the Great Commission, our church supports both domestic and international missions. We usually have a mission conference in October each year, and welcome visiting missionaries throughout the year.
Steps you can take:
- Pray: Get a copy of our church’s monthly prayer guide from the information desk
- Give: Our church’s missionaries receive their support from offerings like ours.
- Go: We are exploring opportunities for our church’s next mission trip options.
